Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days (Monday–Friday).
Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day.

During busy periods, promotions, or unforeseen circumstances, processing times may be slightly longer.

UK Shipping

We offer tracked delivery via Royal Mail:

Standard Tracked (1–3 Business Days)

  • Orders £30.00 and over — Free
  • Orders £0.00–£29.99 — £2.99

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed.

International Shipping

We ship to selected international destinations. Available countries will be shown at checkout.

£12 Minimum spend on international orders.

Standard International Tracked Shipping

Typical delivery time: 2–15 business days, depending on destination, local postal services, and customs processing.

We do not offer refunds for delays caused by customs, courier backlogs, weather, or other factors outside our control.

Tracking Information

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details by email so you can follow your parcel’s progress.

Please note: Tracking updates may take 24–72 hours to appear after dispatch.

Customs, Duties & Import Fees

International orders may be subject to:

  • Import duties
  • Taxes
  • Customs handling fees

These charges are not included in your shipping fee and are the customer’s responsibility.

Refused Deliveries, Customs Charges & Returned Parcels

International orders may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs handling fees determined by your local customs authority. These charges are not included in our prices or shipping fees and are the sole responsibility of the customer.

If you refuse to pay customs charges and the parcel is returned to The Decant Den:

  • Any return-to-sender fees charged by the courier will be deducted from any eligible refund
  • A £7.50 handling and processing fee will be deducted
  • The original shipping cost is non-refundable
  • The cost of decanting and preparation is non-refundable

Because all decants are custom-made to order, in many cases no refund will be due at all for refused or undeliverable international shipments.

By placing an order with The Decant Den, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Delivery Delays

In rare cases, delivery may take longer than the estimated timeframe due to:

  • Customs inspections
  • Local courier delays
  • Weather or logistical disruptions
  • Peak periods (e.g. Christmas, sales, holidays)

These delays are outside of our control and do not qualify for refunds.

Address Accuracy

Customers must ensure their shipping address is complete and accurate at checkout.

We are not responsible for:

  • Delays
  • Lost parcels
  • Returned parcels

Caused by incorrect or incomplete address details.

If a parcel is returned to us due to address errors, refunds are not guaranteed and may have deductions for shipping and handling.

Shipping Restrictions

Some items (including fragrances) are classed as flammable goods and may be restricted in certain countries.

We comply with international shipping regulations and cannot ship to destinations where delivery is restricted.
